Welcome to our D1 Quran Class! This class is designed to introduce young learners to the beautiful journey of Quranic study, starting with the basics. Children will learn the Arabic alphabet, practice simple words, and focus on correct pronunciation, creating a strong foundation for future learning.
The Quranic Studies program at DLC is designed to provide children with a strong foundation in Quranic education. Tailored for children aged 3 and above, the program is divided into three progressive levels (D1, D2, and D3) to accommodate students’ varying learning stages. Each level is focused on building a deep understanding of Quranic letters, syllables, and proper recitation techniques. This program helps children develop an early connection to their faith through interactive and engaging lessons.
This level is designed for beginners, focusing on teaching children how to identify Quranic letters and understand their articulation. Students are introduced to basic letter recognition and pronunciation. This is an important first step that ensures students can accurately identify and pronounce Arabic letters before progressing.
As students progress to D2, they begin to learn Quranic syllables and how to combine letters using Quranic diacritics. This level introduces basic reading skills, where students start reading small words and phrases from the Quran, enhancing their fluency and confidence.
At the most advanced level, students cover the last of the 30 parts of the Quran. D3 focuses on developing a deeper understanding of Quranic verses with correct pronunciation (Tajweed), preparing students to continue their studies with more complex Quranic texts.
